IQVIA Finance Manager in Budapest, Hungary
Job Overview
Analyses financial and business performance leveraging key indicators, develops and evaluates forecasts, to determine actions required to maximize shareholder return. Collects, models, and analyses financial statement and operational performance data with a view to identifying trends and actions.
Responsibilities
Understand the data structure of IQVIA to maintain reporting accuracy and to be able to translate business requests into reports that support management insights and decision.
Co-ordinate and improve the regional reporting processes (P&L focus).
Support EMEA leadership by reviewing monthly results, forecasts, and annual budgets. Provides insight and highlights areas of risk and/or opportunity in the EMEA RBU. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
Analyse structured financial and operational reports to identify trends, anomalies and focus areas to achieve business objectives.
Assist management in preparation of operating/functional review meetings, strategic planning review meetings and budget review meetings.
Prepare and perform comprehensive quality checks on every report as standard; troubleshoot issues and find solutions as required; propose process improvements to minimize occurrence of issues.
Run ad hoc analysis using Hyperion, SAP, SFDC and other data sources to provide business insights.
Identify reporting best practices from other IQVIA Teams and adapt them for the EMEA regional FP&A requirements.
Provide direction and guidance to the Financial Analyst within the regional FP&A team.
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in analytic subject and 5-7 year of experience in an analytical role, commercial finance or financial planning and analysis.
Part-qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent advantage but not requirement.
Technical accounting skills.
Good analytical and numeracy skills.
Expert users of MS Excel (owner of complex models, multi spreadsheet excel templates).
Experience in financial systems and databases.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English) as well as strong ownership and focus.
Proven record of results working with senior management.
Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
High level of integrity and self-confidence.
Must be IT literate, with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages, MS Office.
