Job Description

Join our dynamic multinational team as a Lead Vendor Administrator and become a valuable contributor to our growing international work environment!

In this role, you will play a significant part in handling managing a wide range of administrative duties. Your primary responsibility will be providing support to key customers, account management and colleagues to ensure the delivery of professional service and excellence within our fast-paced, back-office environment. As a Lead Vendor Administrator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our continued success.

Major areas of responsibility:

  • Assume leadership on new assignments and projects, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Engage with customers and vendors, actively participating in business consultations and collaborative decision-making processes.

  • Manage and maintain vendor contract information.

  • Contribute to the invoicing process.

  • Maintain the supplier database.

  • Analyze and assess the nature and severity of complex cases, determine the appropriate resources and expertise required to address them, identify trends or recurring issues for prevention purposes.

  • Provide expertise, guidance, and support to colleagues.

  • Develop and deliver training materials to meet departmental requirements.

  • Assess the need for change and implement strategies to enhance productivity.

Required education/experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in purchasing, contract management, invoicing.

  • Bachelor’s, Vocational Training, or equivalent.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, German or French is preferred.

  • Relevant experience with SAP ERP systems, IBM Maximo, CRM systems is preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel).

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to details, and accuracy in the workplace.

  • Proven ability to handle internal and external customer interactions.

  • Self-motivation, passion, and positive demeanor to perform individually and as a teammate.

  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver and/or delegate effectively.

  • Operational excellence mentality with goal-oriented approach.
