Job Description

Job Specification for ECMEA Apps – Revenue Risk Analyst

  • First employment period as contractor, with possibility of extension.

You will work closely with Global Business Finance (GBF), credit & collections, and sales to proactively assess the risk to revenue from write off/ legal referral. Provide early warning to GBF and Sales. Regular follow up with sales to ensure that they in turn are following up with customers on a regular basis to secure outstanding payments. Prime objective being to mitigate the risk of write off/ legal referral, avoid negative impact to the P&L, while minimizing the overall bad debt risk to the business.

Set up a regular governance between GBF, Sales and credit & collections at a cluster level to review aging AR balances. Provide early visibility on the risks so action can be taken to avoid write offs & legal referrals.

Follow up internally (Cash Applications, AR, C&C, legal) to ensure that payments made are correctly set off vs outstanding.

Set up/ augment reporting that provides GBF and Sales with regular insight into outstanding balances at a customer level and flag risks.

Set up reporting to review C&C status on all top deals in play for the current and next quarter at a cluster level.

Evangelize with sales the usage of systems that will help sales team understand their customer’s payment behavior and ensure that credit risk/ holds, etc are identified and addressed proactively.

You will need to work collaboratively with sales & GBF and advise the business on appropriate actions that need to be taken.

The ideal candidate will need to complete his/ her own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical communication skills. Build strong relationship with all internal stakeholders. Strong MS Excel skills is mandatory – ability to set up reports & dashboards, manipulate and manage large volumes of data and convert it to meaningful and actionable reports. Knowledge of functions such as vlook up, sumif, sumproduct, matchindex, pivots, etc., Knowledge and experience in setting up marcos will be a plus though not mandatory. Candidate should have a flair for technology and a genuine interest to learn tools like BI analytics, Data Visualization, etc., 2-year experience in credit & collections, contracts, finance, leasing, or equivalent role. BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
