IBM Data Analyst & Coordinator in Bucharest, Romania

Your Role and Responsibilities

Data Analyst & coordinator is a core role and set of competencies in the Product Metrics team within IBM Corporate Marketing. We operate within the Marketing Technology (MarTech) area and support the marketing stack of tools, platforms and products, working closely with product and project stakeholders.

As a Data Analyst & coordinator, you'll be part of a Product Metrics team and will work closely with Product Owners of various Marketing Platforms leading intake, prioritization, and delivery of product metrics requirements to support marketing and sales objectives regarding inbound marketing channels (i.e. live chat, scheduler, URX, etc..) and MarTech tools. You'll coordinate development and operations team reporting activities and provide program updates and reviews for business and product leaders.

The successful candidate is metrics-driven and has a foundational understanding of databases, visualization tool, and the importance it has in helping adopters.

Key responsibilities include:

1) Product Ownership and Growth: Own specific dashboard reports that supplement EPM, steering growth and continuous improvement while embodying expertise in your product space.

2) Agile Team Facilitation: Foster an Agile team environment, fostering team collaboration and maximizing productivity throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

3) Innovative Development: Drive innovative development with a roadmap centered on maximizing insights and minimizing technical debt, while addressing broader business requirements.

4) Strategic Partnerships: Establish strategic partnerships to amplify the value and reach of your product. Expand functionality and attract an adjacent customer base to drive continued success.

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a data-driven technology team or company with a sophisticated data stack

  • Technical skillsets to work with datasets using query tools/languages (SQL, DBeaver, etc) to process and analyze data

  • Experience with Tableau to facilitate flexible analysis of product metrics data (ie: usage, adoption, NPS, visits, revenue, etc)

  • Collaborative leadership style and strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools and product development lifecycles

  • Ability to create relationships across departments and add value in a matrixed and complex organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take inputs from multiple data sources data and deliver insights to non-technical employees (marketers/sellers) and leadership

  • Fluent level in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience using Cognos and Google Analytics as data analytics and visulation tools

  • Experience with Adobe's Marketing platforms a major plus, including knowledge of dataflow into downstream systems

  • Foundational Agile and Project Management courses/training
