About the role

Are you ready to take your expertise in cloud networking to the next level? We're seeking an Application Network Architect who will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructures for our cloud-based applications. In this role, collaboration is central: you work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security professionals, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud network and to understand and translate application requirements into scalable cloud architecture solutions.

Being security and performance driven, you are implementing automation and IaC practices to streamline network deployment, configuration, and management through your main missions:

• Design and implement complex, highly available, reliable, secure, and scalable network architectures for cloud-based applications.

• Implement strategies for optimizing network performance, including load balancing, traffic management, and latency reduction. Define and apply security best practices, protocols, and controls to safeguard data and infrastructure.

• Conduct performance testing and tuning to ensure optimal application delivery. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the cloud architecture, including diagrams, policies, and procedures.

• Support DevOps to fix and resolve complex network-related issues and develop incident response plans for network-related incidents. Integrate the best processes for testing automation, continuous monitoring, CICD processes, and DevOps.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you as a passionate engineer graduated in computer science, with demonstrable & strong experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure network architectures for cloud-based applications.

• To succeed in this position, good communication skills are key: you need to collaborate, drive, and influence all your internal customers. On the other hand, you can contribute to a team discussion in an international context, listen to other perspectives, bringing help and problem-solving to assist other team members. Critical-thinking abilities and technologies challenge orientation will go far toward contributing to your success.

• You join us with in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and their services and proficiency in integrating security measures into cloud network designs and implementing security standard processes. You are experienced with load balancing solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance of cloud applications. You showcase expertise in setting up monitoring tools and solving network-related issues. Your advanced skills in automation tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and scripting languages like Python or Bash will be highly valued.
