As an Application Architect specializing in serverless architecture and cloud technologies, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective cloud-native applications. Your focus will be on maximizing cloud design principles to design and deploy systems that meet the demands of modern, complex applications leveraging cloud services efficiently.

In this role, collaboration is central : you work closely with business partners to understand application requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architecture solutions. As you oversee planning, executions and delivery of projects and tasks, you also coordinate with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, your daily missions will be to:

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies based on project requirements, cost, and performance considerations. You design and architect cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security. Where appropriate, you use microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures and containerization. You architect framework with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

• Make sure to apply security the best processes into the application architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Also integrate best methodologies for testing automation, continuous monitoring, CICD processes and DevOps. You create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the cloud architecture, including diagrams, policies, and procedures.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you as a passionate engineer graduated in computer science/IT, with demonstrable and strong experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure architectures for cloud-based applications. You are bringing your project management experience with a focus on delivering results.

• To succeed in this position, good communication skills are key: you need to collaborate, drive, and influence all your internal customers. On the other hand, you can contribute to a team discussion in an international context, listen to other perspectives, bringing help and problem-solving to assist other team members. Thanks to your leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide and inspire development teams. Critical-thinking abilities and technologies challenge orientation will go far toward contributing to your success.

• You join us with in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and their services, as well as strong expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++) and proficiency in software development methodologies. You are experienced with Infrastructure as Code, CICD tools and processes; and understand testing automation and continuous monitoring practices. We would like you to bring strong expertise of cloud design principles, microservices architectures, and serverless computing.
