For our client Sandoz in Vilvord we're looking for a HSE Coordinator. You will be working in the office. There's a flexibility to work from home.

The candidate needs to have a good knowledge of Dutch and English ( orale and written required!)

Site based role with quarterly travel to the other sites.The purpose of this role is to coordinate the HSE management at the Commercial Operations to support the sites of Vilvoorde (Belgium), Almere (Netherlands) and Nordics (Denmark, Finland and Sweden) for both CBRE and Sandoz.

Major Accountabilities

Leadership

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for any HSE topic with the sites scope and clusters network .

  • Ensures the integration and ongoing oversight aspects required by HSE Management and an adequate stakeholders are appropriately executed.

Implementation and Operations

  • Implements and then improves sites HSE systems according to Sandoz HSE Handbook for Offices and linked with HSE GOP’s in Vilvoorde, Almere and support remotely the Office of Denmark and Flex Offices of Finland and Sweden.

Implements CBRE HSE Management system.

  • Maintains a proper information flow and cooperation regarding HSE topics to Sandoz/ CBRE management line functions on and above site, to site POC’s and all Sandoz associates, CBRE and 3rd Party Personnel.

  • Ensures that HSE services are provided to the site in an effective and efficient manner.

  • When appropriate, engage with Sandoz/CBRE Site Legal or Regional HSE on HSE regulatory issues.

  • Shares a good HSE practices within the cluster newtwork.

  • Supports and coordinates if required dedicated safety and environmental initiatives to increase HSE culture.

  • The relevant Sandoz & CBRE HSE Standards (i.e. tools in the HSE Handbook for Offices) are fully implemented.

  • HSE Plan is executed on a sites level in line with action plans.

  • All HSE Program goals / targets are achieved within agreed timelines (incl. events and metrics reporting).

  • Customer satisfaction with HSE program at the sites level.

  • All open audit-generated action items or agency-generated findings are closed within the agreed-upon timelines and in a manner which prevents recurrence.

  • HSE compliance on a sites level.

  • Full attendance in required trainings and specific meetings (incl. internal safety inspections).

  • Risk assessments incl. SIF activites are up to date on a sites level.

  • No HSE direct reports.

  • May oversee externally contracted HSE resources.

Financial responsibility:

(Budget, Cost, Sales, etc.)

Support HSE budget preparation for the site.

Impact on the organization:

Vilvoorde (Belgium), Almere (Netherlands) and Nordics (Denmark, Finland and Sweden in a remote management manner)

Profil

  • Degree level education (or equivalent) with additional formal qualification in HSE

  • You have a level 2 or 3,

  • Attends HSE trainings to meet requirement of the role as defined by the Global Quality & HSE Lead.

  • Fluent in Dutch is required, and a professional level of English.

  • Good knowledge of HSE standards (especially HSE Law and practices for Belgium)

  • Good Learning Agility
