ICF Freelance Copywriter/Editor in Brussels, Belgium
Description
ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union. We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Freelance Copywriter/Editor.
Key Responsibilities:
Propose editorial concepts based on gathering and analysing relevant materials.
Write and edit high-quality original content.
Manage editorial projects, this may include the coordination of the work of less experienced writers.
Ensure the quality of written material, including proofreading and linguistic check.
Performance of journalistic research and interviews if needed.
Transfer of knowledge on good/bad copy to various internal stakeholders.
Rewrite and adapting content for specific target audiences (online and offline).
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Extremely strong writing and editorial skills, with a capacity for synthesis, analysis and creative writing as demonstrated in a professional work setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of all main EU policies and the main public opinion elements related to them.
Ability to impart information and train others.
Native level or equivalent for the language(s) freelancer will be working in: Understanding (C2), Speaking (C2), Writing (C2)
Professional Skills:
Demonstrated experience working on projects across EU countries.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of relevant tools and software.
