The Maintenance Technician I will work out of our Brownwood Texas manufacturing facility, and report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responding to maintenance requests submitted via reporting app or communicated by production team
Report issues that require escalation when needed
Prioritize issues based on impact to the production schedule
Document and track repair / maintenance on facility equipment
Help maintain parts inventory for the facility
Perform preventative maintenance and general upkeep
Support production line and general operation teams on a variety of projects when needed
Research / troubleshoot maintenance issues using repair manuals, equipment schematic and other available resources
Close work orders upon completion
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school, GED or equivalent
Forklift certified
1-2 years of experience in general repair /equipment maintenance, construction, or related fields
Understanding of the lockout/tagout procedures
Able to support off-shift maintenance issues when skills are not immediately available during operating hours which includes working overtime
Basic mechanical skills
Basic welding skills
Willingness to learn and develop skills
