Indiana State Job Bank Personal Care Assistant in Brownsburg, Indiana
Responsibilities: - Provide personal care assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, hospice care patients, or seniors in need of support. - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. - Ensure the safety and well-being of patients or residents at all times. - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality. - Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients or residents. - Respect and uphold the rights of individuals in your care.
Qualifications: -Valid TB test, CPR
-Previous experience in patient care or senior care . Experienced , mature CNA preferred - Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with individuals in need of care. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to observe changes in patient condition. - Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
