Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Driver / Bell Assistant for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Driver to join our outstanding guest services team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Front Office and Front Office Leaders to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to the Banquets department, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction and associate development. This highly motivated individual will provide a safe, informative, and reliable driving service to our guests. This individual exudes elevated hospitality service and assistance for guests and the hotel, ensuring high standers of customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have customer service experience in a hotel environment and the heart to serve, we would love to speak with you about this role. Salary range for this position (based on experience): $19.00/hour plus gratuities. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race. Responsibilities

Use friendly and appropriate expressions when engaging guests. Engage in conversation with as many guests as possible. Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest. Ensure that the public areas, bell closet are maintained, clean and tidy. Regular sweep of recreation areas including the Fitness Center and Pool to ensure the areas are clean, well-stocked, and free of trash and debris. Drive hotel vehicle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner, including but not limited to the Interlocken Golf Clubhouse, Interlocken Business Park and adjacent business park / offices. May also include transportation to and from the Flatiron Shopping & Entertainment District. Apply knowledge of driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance. Ensure cleanliness of vehicle, including interior and exterior Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management. Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance. Report any safety concern immedi tely to management. Maintain accurate log of services rendered. Create memorable experiences during transportation service. Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service. Accept other special duties as requested by management. Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy. Understand all emergency procedures. Understand all amenities and services offered at the Hotel and local area. Understand all Moments of Service scenarios and apply Power of Engagement to guest interactions. Assist with door, bell, luggage, and general guest assistance. Utilize bell carts effectively and with caution. Direct guests to the Front Desk, spa, outlets, or meeting rooms Assist, retrieve, store and load luggage for guests. Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible. Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions. Complete all tasks assigned by manager. Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible) Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
