Material Handler/Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a warehouse worker to join our team. In this role, you will operate a stand-up forklift (Crown Brand) for 75% of your day or more, frequently jumping on and off the forklift to pull, pick, and stage products. You will prepare orders for shipment using a computer-generated work order, check products, and load them into semi-trailers for shipment. Ensuring that products meet quality specifications and performing safety checks on various warehouse equipment, including a stand-up forklift, man-up, and order picker, will be key responsibilities. Although you will spend a significant amount of time on the forklift, you will also need to adjust (push/pull pallets while bending) throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift (Crown Brand) for 75% of the day or more.

• Jump on and off the forklift to pull, pick, and stage products.

• Prepare orders for shipment using a computer-generated work order.

• Check products and load them into semi-trailers for shipment.

• Ensure that products meet quality specifications.

• Perform safety checks on various warehouse equipment including a stand-up forklift, man-up, and order picker.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of recent experience operating a stand-up forklift (Preferably Crown Brand, but not required).

• Comfortable reading and writing work reports.

• Comfortable working on computers.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be comfortable standing on feet all day in steel toes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.
