Job Title: Painter Helper
Job Description
As a painter helper, you will be responsible for unloading materials from conveyor lines, arranging them properly on carts, handling paperwork, reorders, and inspecting rework. You will also take care of strip-parts and painted flawed parts, ensuring they are sent in for rework. Keeping the paint area organized, operating hoists, performing quality inspections, and lifting heavy materials are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will assemble products by product line, memorize pallet patterns, and strap larger parts to prevent them from falling.
Responsibilities
Unload materials from conveyor lines
Arrange materials properly on carts
Handle paperwork, reorders, and inspect rework
Take care of strip-parts and painted flawed parts
Keep paint area organized
Operate hoists
Perform quality inspections
Lift heavy materials consistently
Assemble products by product line
Memorize pallet patterns and parts
Strap larger parts to prevent them from falling
Essential Skills
Laborer experience
Experience with paint line, loading, and unloading
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Comfortable with repetitive motions, twisting, bending, and pulling
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required
Okay with repetitive motions and physical tasks

Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced, hot, and physical manufacturing setting. You will be bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the day, and expect to be very dirty by the end of your shift. Contractors are expected to keep up with the conveyor belt to ensure continuous workflow. The standard work schedule is Monday to Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
