Sodexo is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor, for HHC Cook Chill Plant, located in Brooklyn, New York. This is a Day Shift position 7 a.m to 4 p.m. The position will manage a team of 5 to 15 Union client paid staff. This position reports to a facilities manager on site.
The successful candidate will:
Identify opportunities for reducing the “total cost” of a product line or regional vendor.
Manage corporate specifications through regional vendors.
Conduct business with vendors to review performance to the contract and identify future business opportunities.
Exercise sound business judgment and high ethical standards when conducting business on behalf of Sodexo Remote Sites.
Supervises our facilities in the warehouse

· Supervise and assists with monitoring daily work schedules and/or work assignments to ensure proper staffing needs are maintained.
· Checks quantities and condition of all sanitation supplies and reports discrepancies.
· Manages, trains, coaches to motivate to work as a cohesive team.
· Communicates all relevant work information to Sanitation Staff;
· Coordinates Facility Floor-care; Stripping, Refinishing, Burnishing etc. in accordance with identified schedule.
· Handles any overlapping Facility Vendor interactions and issues with professionalism.
· Prioritizes tasks and responsibilities as needed.
· Performs other related duties as required by Management

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year
