Compensation

Salary Range: $83,309 - $123,620 (Grade E - 556 hay points)

UTLO Compression Salary: $122,500

Responsibilities

This position is responsible to enact and manage the NYCT/MTA Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and develop and implement a new NYCT/MTA CMMS. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for supporting Facilities, Non-Rev Support Fleet, and Bus Operations through the ongoing observation and evaluation of the business processes that inform all aspects of Enterprise Asset Management and all levels of performance analysis and reporting. The incumbent will train all levels of staff, with an emphasis on the represented workforce.

Using operational support information systems to efficiently carry out their responsibilities to accurately record asset maintenance and repair actions. Identify opportunities to improve the systems. Identify deficiencies in business processes, support systems or information sources and recommend, develop, and implement a remediation plan. Ensure depot staff are aware of changes to policies, procedures or features that impact their use of the information systems and information sources that impact their job responsibilities.

Education and Experience

  • Six (6) years of related professional experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/managerial/project management experience, or

  • A satisfactory equivalent of the combined education and experience

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of vehicular maintenance operations and preventative maintenance procedures

    • Knowledge of Facilities maintenance and asset preventative programs

    • Experience in personnel development, work prioritization, and overtime distribution

    • Must be able to make decisions rapidly and under pressure and effectively deal with availability of labor and equipment constraints

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • PC skills, expertise in data analysis. knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, as well as Oracle and computerized maintenance management systems

    • Knowledge of maintenance procedures/standards required to maintain them

    • Knowledge of vehicle systems and components

    • Practical understanding of PL/SQL and relational databases

    • Familiarity with maintenance operations is a plus
