Program Manager, Climate Initiatives (71101)Location: Brooklyn, NYDescription:Pratt Center for Community Development is hiring for a full-time program manager to lead the day-to-day implementation of EnergyFit, a home repair and equitable decarbonization demonstration project. Pratt Center partners with local affordable housing organizations and contractors to recruit, support and work with lower-income homeowners in Central Brooklyn & Eastern Brooklyn on reducing their climate impact and creating healthy housing. As a demonstration project, EnergyFit is modeling solutions for increasing the uptake of clean energy projects in NYC's 1-4 family building stock. The project is providing direct service to homeowners and their tenants while also collecting data to assess best practices and pricing to use in advocating for a more just energy transition. The EnergyFit project is being deployed at a critical moment in the clean energy transition, and Pratt Center is committed to fight for equitable access to clean energy for all New Yorkers, particularly communities of color who have experienced decades of disinvestment and gentrification pressures in their communities.The Program Manager's role is to coordinate all areas of project implementation and ensure that our partners are supported programmatically and administratively. Daily activities can include reviewing cost proposals and determining project measures based on available budget, managing invoicing for payments to all sub-contractors, collaborating on program design decisions using in-the-field evidence, ensuring all operating procedures are effective and agreed upon by the team, and/or coordinating the multiple streams of funding to ensure that all funder requirements are met.The Program Manager must not only be able to run the day-to-day operations of EnergyFit, but also must be able to assess project impacts and develop recommended practices that can be replicated beyond the EnergyFit demonstration. Through ongoing program analysis, the Program Manager will work with the Director of Climate Initiatives to identify connections between project outcomes and policy recommendations.EnergyFit Affordable Small Homes builds off of Pratt Center's previous work including Retrofit Standardization and EnergyFit NYC, and grows out of the many years of learnings from our work with community-based partners across New York City on Green Jobs/Green New York and Retrofit Bed Stuy/NYC Block by Block.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day activities related to program implementation of the demonstration project, including:Maintain organization of multiple client's project data such as project estimates, scopes of work, invoices, utility data and moreManagement of CRM software for tracking program data and outreach activitiesTroubleshoot implementation challenges that arise and create operating procedures and policies to address issuesTrack all project deliverables, expenditures and timelinesUpdate and streamline internal administrative processes as neededMeet weekly with each partner organization and lead weekly team meetingLead the EnergyFit team in creating solutions to challenges that limit the effectiveness of the programPerform data analysis and report on program findingsReport to Director of Cl
