Compensation :

Assistant Transit Management Analyst I (TA) : $ 65,954 - $ 78,079

Assistant Transit Management Analyst II (TA) : $ 76,577 - $ 85,288

Associate Transit Management Analyst (TA) : $ 86,565 - $112,083

Responsibilities :

The selected candidate will assist Infrastructure management with the production of reports and organize responses from the subdivisions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Handles all pass requests and parking permit requests. Ensure that capital contracts sent to the Infrastructure are reviewed and approved in a timely manner. Facilitate Infrastructure's monthly Work Order meetings and its accompanying report. Assist in the production of monthly budget reports and yearly Organizational Chart development. Produce monthly Stop Card Reports for Structures and Facilities. Track OT usage for Hydraulics and Subway Operations. Distribute weekly Service Plan - G.O. report to Infrastructure staff. Handle all requests regarding new and existing phone service. Overseeing and providing back up for the Monthly CIO Report and, other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience :

Assistant Transit Management Analyst I & Assistant Transit Management Analyst II:

  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and at least one year of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports; or

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and two years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above.

    Associate Transit Management Analyst:

  • A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and two years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports. One year of experience must have been in the transportation industry; or

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above. One year of this experience must have been in the transportation industry.

    Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.

    All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
