Description: Youth Program staff plan and lead high-quality youth enrichment activities through the district's 21st Century out-of-school time programs. Staff will be required to serve as positive role models for all youth and independently supervise groups of up to 20 youth at a time. Positions are available at our elementary and middle/high school sites; some positions may work at multiple sites.Job Summary: Engages groups of students in out-of-school time program activities, creates high-quality lesson plans for activities in areas of youth interest that target social and emotional learning goals, ensures the safety and well-being of all students in the program. Flexibility to support youth and program needs as they change on a daily basis is required. Qualifications:
Must be 17 years of age or older
High school diploma, preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to positively interact with youth and support their development
Previous experience working with youth preferred
Working Conditions:
Seeking staff for the following shifts:Elementary: 1:45pm - 4:45pm or 1:30pm - 6:15pmHighSchool: 3:15pm - 6:15pm or 3:15pm - 7:45pm
Must be able to go outside daily
Must be able to lift 20 pounds
Must be able to supervise up to 20 students at a time
