Merit Apprenticeship Alliance Carpenter Apprentice - Eastern Long Island/Suffolk County in Brookhaven, New York
The Apprentice will be provided on-the-job training in the Carpentry trade and will perform tasks associated with building, road and heavy construction.Basic knowledge of materials, methods and tools used construction is helpful.Applicants must provide their own reliable transportation to and from the participating employer's place of business, all job sites and to all related instruction. Apprentices must attend classroom training provided by the sponsor.Applicants will, as a condition of entry into the apprenticeship program, pass a drug screen and be subject to random drug testing.Prevailing wages & benefit opportunities will be available. Wages and benefits are at least $31.50 per hour.
Minimum Salary: 18 Maximum Salary: 20 Salary Unit: Hourly
