Information Technology Analyst
Associate Director of Enterprise Applications
Position Summary :
The Information Technology Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of data systems/databases/programs/services within the institution’s information systems. This position works with other members of the Enterprise Applications team and consultants to support our internal customers’ needs in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: designing, developing and troubleshooting information technology applications and solutions; troubleshooting data and database issues; reviewing, advising and acting on security issues and threats. This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Enterprise Applications and will work toward the successful adoption and usage of technology.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities :
Provide support for database and program specific applications
Including Unit4 ERP, Canvas CMS, Informer, Accesso SiriusWare, and others
Document common issues/causes/solutions; policies and procedures; user guide creation; FAQs and web-based guides
Work with internal users to identify new requirements when needed, and test new functionality/bug fixes
Develop proficiency at writing SQL queries
Assist projects focused on application maintenance and operations
Provide/lead cross training within the department and organization on systems, applications and databases
Work with vendors and customers to resolve issues, test and implement upgrades/new business practices
Establish and maintain tools for reporting and data analysis
Utilize system monitoring and maintenance for performance
Utilize industry- wide best practices for security in all areas
Assist with migration and integration tasks as needed
Investigate/analyze and test new tools, techniques and software products and collaborate with others throughout the Garden
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Associates Degree, plus one (1) year of significant programming/analyst experience is required; OR a combination of education in Computer Sciences or related fields and two (2) years of significant programming/analyst experience or technical support
Demonstrated work experience with application support
Excellent communication skills and experience working with individuals of all levels; ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users
Demonstrated logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with creation/development of data-focused reports
Customer service oriented and collaborating effectively within a team
Excellent time management skills; can work with minimal supervision
Experience working on system migration projects, including requirements gathering, preferred
Experience supporting SharePoint Online preferred
Experience with Project Management tools preferred
Experience working with Power BI or other visualization tools preferred

Baseline Work Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week. Occasional after hours work, when needed to fulfill duties.
Salary: Commensurate with experience within the range of $60,000-$65,000.
