We are looking for a based a Production Planner in our Broken Arrow, OK location.

As an Assembly / Wiring Planner with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will schedule materials for wiring to our assembly department. Your focus will be delivery reliability, asset management, and effective communication across the production area. Your work will help bring to market specialized equipment that makes the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will provide solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess wiring capacity and evaluate alignment to assembly requirements to ensure efficient production processes.

  • Work closely with the Fabrication Planner and Master Scheduler to develop comprehensive wiring schedules that meet production demands and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to wiring prints accuracy, ensuring distribution to the assembly floor.

  • Monitor and track the completion of production orders, identifying any potential delays or issues and implementing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Generate shortage reports and actively drive them to resolution by coordinating with procurement and production teams.

  • Maintain accuracy in SAP system by updating and verifying wiring assembly data, including material availability, production status, and inventory levels.

  • Continuously analyze and improve wiring assembly processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on wiring assembly performance metrics, including throughput, utilization, and on-time delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or state-recognized GED required.

  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with the ability to accurately input and maintain data.

  • Proven experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve conflicts.

  • Analytical mentality with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.

  • Ability to travel 5%

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong understanding of wiring assembly processes, materials, and components.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • The pay range for this position is $61K-$80K. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
