Oracle Cloud Asset Management Engineer in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Analyze results of assessments, reports, tests and other verifications of assets

  • Review scan data to identify and report new findings

  • Research and investigate new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure remediation of identified vulnerabilities within noted timeframes and in adherence with information security policies

  • Design, build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs

  • Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks, escalate delays in a timely, strategic manner utilizing project management techniques and methods

  • Provide key stakeholders with regular updates on the progress, key blockers, dependencies, target dates

  • Collect and aggregate information from a variety of sources and produce actionable reports and metrics

  • Work with other Engineers to validate that data from internal and external sources is relevant, trustworthy and actionable and ensure the platform provides required data and level of granularity

  • Flexibility working with overseas teams during off-hours

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, Information Security,

  • Knowledgeable and deep understanding of vulnerability and risk management

  • Knowledge in Operating System’s packages and kernels

  • Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports

  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.)

  • Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus

  • Experience with data gathering, filtering and manipulation
