**Maintenance Worker I - Street Department
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Perform a wide variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work including:
- Grounds Maintenance
- Street Repairs
- Collection of solid waste
- Other related duties as assigned
- Perform all work according to established safety standards, codes and regulations applicable to the work
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: High school or equivalent diploma preferred, with some maintenance experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the position. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to work in all types weather conditions.
