Job Title: RME - Maintenance Technician II
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets.
Manage work orders within a CMMS.
Possess electrical knowledge of basic components.
Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Continuous improvement mindset.
Willingness to learn and grow within the RME department.
Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation, mostly with robotic components. You will have your performance tracked by data and numbers, but not micromanaged. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs at a time. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
