Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled SmartComm / Thunderhead Developer to assist in the implementation and development of SmartComm forms solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, developing forms, and mapping data while adhering to best practices. This role requires a ‘Can do-will do’ attitude and involves close collaboration with team members and clients to ensure the success of various project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of SmartComm form solutions, working collaboratively with team members to achieve project milestones.

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and document customer requirements for SmartComm/Thunderhead solutions.

  • Develop SmartComm forms using best practices, including data mapping and formatting.

  • Forms Authoring & Testing: Author and test SmartComm forms, ensuring high quality and alignment with client specifications.

  • Author detailed design and requirement specifications to guide development and project execution.

  • Contribute to post-project reviews and create customer implementation documentation to ensure project success and continuous improvement.

  • Interact with clients professionally and with a positive client service approach.

  • Take initiative to learn and apply SmartComm products to various industry verticals. Stay updated on industry developments and continuously develop technical skills to meet the evolving demands of the role.

Technical Expertise:

  • Good knowledge of Thunderhead or Smart Communications products and solutions.

  • Ability to guide a team on Thunderhead and interactive projects.

  • Hands-on experience designing and developing multi-channel communications (Print, Web/HTML, Email, Archive, SMS, Fax, etc.) using Thunderhead.

  • Experience in integrating Thunderhead with upstream systems (e.g., Guidewire) and Document Management Systems (e.g., FileNet, Documentum, Alfresco).

  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and messaging techniques (JMS, SOAP, REST, MQ) is a plus.

  • Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of working experience on Thunderhead or Interactive projects, with involvement in requirement gathering, analysis, build, and testing.

  • Hands-on experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server is desirable.
