Solution Engineer (Oracle Converged Database – Data Driven Apps & Data Dev Synergy)
We are a Cloud and Technology Solution Engineering organization supporting a public sector customers and partners interested in our cloud technologies.
The future is Data Driven and the Solution Engineer is key to provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
industry experience in database, software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field with experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from datasets.
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of Oracle Database technologies and solutions focus on Converged Database approach to creating value from data (Data Driven)
Data Driven Apps: creating value from data in new ways: Machine Learning, Real-Time Analytics, IoT, Graph Analysis, Documents (JSON), Text Search, Spatial, Blockchain
Data Driven Apps to new Dev Paradigms: Microservices, Events, SaaS, Distributed Data, CI/CD, API Driven Development, Defense in Depth, Low Code.
Data Dev Synergy: Microservices – Pluggable, Evens – Queues, API Driven – DaaM, SaaS – Multitenant, Low Code – APEX, Distributed Data – Sharding, CI/CD – Online Redefine, Defense in Depth – Declarative Security.
Experience with data modeling and queries design to craft reports using variety of data sources.
Experience with developing data warehousing, which could include architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems.
Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies in the Database ecosystems.
Technical sales experience or professional consulting experience in the fields of cloud computing, data, information lifecycle management.
Demonstrate track of record in dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to engineering teams and business audiences.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
