CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS ANALYST - Well-Respected International Company in Braselton

My client, a well-respected international manufacturer in Braselton, is seeking a dedicated Credit and Collections Analyst to oversee the efficient and controlled execution of operational and analytical functions within our credit and collections department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing credit and customer receivables, conducting thorough credit assessments, and ensuring timely collections while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support for Accounts Receivable, delivering crucial insights to management.

  • Conduct proactive analysis of Accounts Receivable aging to facilitate timely collections and identify potential risks, promptly reporting findings to management.

  • Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer credit issues effectively.

  • Conduct in-depth research and account reconciliations to identify and resolve delinquencies and disputes.

  • Monitor existing accounts, identifying overdue payments and assessing risk levels.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of daily collections activities.

  • Collaborate with the Credit Manager to negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary.

  • Accurately input credit and debit adjustments into the system.

  • Assist in resolving high-volume customer account issues and perform other administrative tasks as required.

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

    Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Credit & Collections, preferably within the consumer or industrial products sector.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficient in analytical and reporting techniques, with keen attention to detail.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems; familiarity with MS Office suite is advantageous.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels with integrity.

  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles.

  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, with strong prioritization skills.
