Job Title: Line Leader

Job Description

As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for performing machine setup for the efficient operation of packaging lines. You will ensure product change-overs are done according to SOP requirements, optimize time and resource allocation, and maintain performance within manufacturing specifications. Your role involves managing the flow of materials to and from the production area to ensure operational continuity, and you will be knowledgeable about repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily support of packaging equipment in the manufacturing of aerosol products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine setup for efficient operation of packaging lines.

  • Ensure product change-over is done according to SOP requirements.

  • Optimize time and resource allocation techniques, and maintain performance within manufacturing specifications.

  • Familiarize with the flow of materials to and from the production area to maintain line operational continuity.

  • Possess knowledge of repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily support of packaging equipment in the manufacturing of aerosol products.

  • Assist in troubleshooting issues.

  • Understand cGMP compliances as they impact production requirements.

  • Be aware of all applicable regulations and safety issues governing the aerosol filling operation.

  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance to achieve optimal results.

  • Maintain compliance with all regulations and regulatory authorities related to the Fire Code, OSHA, DEP, and DOT.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production line setup and operation.

  • Knowledge of product change-over procedures according to SOP requirements.

  • Ability to optimize time and resource allocation.

  • Familiarity with material flow in production areas.

  • Experience with repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily support of packaging equipment.

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Understanding of cGMP compliances.

  • Knowledge of regulations and safety issues in aerosol filling operations.

  • Experience working with Quality Control and Maintenance teams.

  • Compliance with Fire Code, OSHA, DEP, and DOT regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production, assembly line, and packaging line operations.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
