Job Title: Tester
Job Description
This role involves hoisting units onto and off overhead cranes, physically testing and examining the units, and utilizing an NPT Reader/tester to ensure functionality. You will perform both old-school manual testing and write down the results, as well as ensure that voltages and currents are safe using modern machinery. Additionally, you will conduct mechanical tests, including filling units with oil and ensuring they run properly.
Responsibilities

Physically test and examine the units.
Use an NPT Reader/tester to verify functionality.
Perform manual testing and document results.
Ensure safe voltage and current levels using current machinery.
Conduct mechanical tests such as filling units with oil and ensuring they function.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
1 year of basic electrical knowledge.
1 year of basic mechanical knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Solid communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct experience testing motors both mechanically and electrically.
Experience with NPT electrical reader/tester.
Overhead crane experience.
