MCR Health Traveling Medical Assistant in Bradenton, Florida

If yes, MCR Health is looking for Exceptional and experienced Medical Assistants to support and travel with one of the world's preeminent entertainment companies.

This is a full-time position, not a contractor or on-call role, offering health insurance, paid time off, etc. This role travels extensively throughout the United States and tours with the entertainment company show. This position does not return to the Tampa Bay area on a weekly basis. While you travel, you will complete COVID-19 testing for the event staff.

We are offering a premium wage for the right professional - $25.00 per hour based on experience. When not traveling, you will work in one of our 40+ clinics to maintain your clinical skills.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Complete COVID-19 testing for event staff
  • Travel with event staff state to state for multiple weeks at a time
  • Connect event staff to MCR telehealth services
  • Provide patient care in one of our clinical locations when not traveling

What else you need to bring to this role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant required
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistantin good standing required
  • Current CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Ability to travel multiple weeks at a time by any mode of transportation including airline flights
  • Strong professional presence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to represent MCR Health and the Entertainment team with pride, enthusiasm and positivity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required
  • US Passport beneficial
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers in stressful situations
  • Tech savviness and comfortable with technology
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
  • Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
  • A positive can-do attitude
