About the Role
The Event and Community Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting community engagement and development efforts. Youll manage Chamber of Commerce operations, coordinate local events, and work on community development initiatives that enhance economic growth and the quality of life in Bowman County. The position offers flexibility for part-time or full-time hours based on the candidate's availability. Youll work closely with the Executive Director and team to achieve organizational goals.
Heres what youll do day-to-day
- Manage and organize community events such as the High School Rodeo Finals, Bowman County Fair Parade, and other Chamber events.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with Chamber members, local businesses, and community partners.
- Assist with the coordination of fairgrounds bookings, charitable gaming, grant administration, and tourism initiatives.
- Oversee social media and website management to promote community events and local businesses.
- Support "Shop Local" initiatives and other programs that foster community and economic development.
- Collaborate on community development initiatives aimed at improving the overall quality of life for Bowman County residents.
