Job Summary:
A Clinical Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all aspects of a clinical training program, including curriculum design, EHR training, clinical rotations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, all while maintaining high quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum development:
Designing and updating the clinical curriculum to align with current best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Faculty oversight:
Recruiting, hiring, and supervising clinical instructors, ensuring they are qualified and effectively delivering training to students.
Clinical rotation management:
Coordinating student placements in various clinical settings, ensuring appropriate supervision and quality patient care during rotations.
Assessment and evaluation:
Developing and administering assessments to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure competency.
Compliance management:
Maintaining adherence to all relevant clinical regulatory standards.
Budget management:
Overseeing the financial aspects of the training program, including allocating resources and managing expenditures.
Professional development:
Ensure certification within 1 year or maintain certifications.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse license: Must be a licensed registered nurse with current practice experience.
Clinical expertise: Strong understanding of nursing practice standards, patient care principles, and clinical procedures.
Leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of faculty and staff, manage complex operations, and make informed decisions.
Teaching experience: Proven experience in teaching nursing students in a clinical setting.
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, healthcare providers, and administrative staff.
Education:
Highschool Diploma
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
