Job Title: Handy Person

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of facilities management. We are recruiting a Handy Person to join the team located in Wimborne, working within a great team on our client’s fantastic site.

Role Summary:

•Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales

•Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks

•Support site team in planned maintenance works such as: general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU’s / FCU’s and Basic Plumbing requirements, legionella water sampling, all following site procedures

•Complete various reactive works on site, such as minor fabric repairs, decorating works, moving of equipment, minor grounds maintenance, minor small works.

•Utilise PDA to complete works

•Complete reactive and PPM jobs in a timely manner

•Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations

•Inducting and escorting of CBRE contractors on site.

•First and foremost, be a team player.

•In addition to the above duties, you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Manager

Experience Required:

•Previous experience in a hands-on role facilities role

•Current UK driver’s license

•PC literate

•Good Customer relationship skills

•Self-starter and experienced managing multiple assigned tasks

•Experience of working to robust H & S procedures & requirements. Including COSHH, Working at Heights, reading Risk Assessment etc
