The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a 50% teaching assistant professor in business communication for the Professional Effectiveness Division for Fall 2024. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Teach 4 classes per year of business communication courses per academic year focusing primarily on oral communication, leadership effectiveness, career readiness, and teamwork.
Utilize online platforms including Canvas to provide lecture content.
Collaborate and coordinate well with colleagues to contribute to the goals of the division.
Continue partnership with corporate sponsors to maintain the integrity of course assignments.
Demonstrate flexibility in teaching methods to accommodate changes in course structure as needed.
Support campus-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives.
What We Can Offer
This is a one-year appointment at 50%, teaching two 3-credit courses per semester. The salary is $35,000.

What We Require
- Minimum requirement of a Masters Degree in communication or a related field and three years of experience teaching business communication; preference will be given to candidates with PhDs in communication or those who are ABD.
