OnKure, Inc. Director, Project Management in Boulder, Colorado

Position Description: The Director, Project Management will act as the program lead responsible for project management and program deliverables for clinical -stage projects within the OnKure portfolio. This role will require a high level of experience in clinical development programs and the ability to organize disparate functions and communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders in Development and Senior Management to ensure program execution to plans, timelines and budgets. This individual will also contribute to overall portfolio strategy development and organizational management activities to enable successful execution across all programs at OnKure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead at least one clinical development program Lead and develop an integrated cross-functional project plan, with clear deliverables, timelines, and budgets Manage cross-functional resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of all project outcomes and proactively identify project risks and enable team to identify and implement time- and cost-effective solutions. The ability to effectively understand and creatively manage risk and find creative solutions to problems is needed Ensure effective coordination and communication within team and e nsure project status, team activities and decisions made are properly documented and archived Coordinate drafting, review, approval, and submission of all IND sections and ongoing regulatory documentation Act as point individual for team communication and interactions with senior management and the Board of Directors as necessary to ensure adequate communication and decision making Contribute to OnKure’s portfolio strategy and management across all programs in both Research and Development With colleagues in Project Management and other stakeholders, identify process improvements, and lead efforts to improve cross-functional engagement, collaboration, and communication across all projects at OnKure Collaborate with stakeholders in business development to contribute to Business Development strategy and ensure availability of key data for diligence Preferred Experience and Qualifications: BS/MS/PhD or equivalent in a life science, or a related discipline PMP Certification or Project Management training from an accredited program preferred 7+ years’ project management experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry Experience managing clinical projects from entry into the clinic through late-stage (Ph3 and NDA) development is required Experience managing projects in earlier stages (pre-IND) is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate scientific and technical concepts to a broad audience Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Demonstrated ability to effectively work with team members and peers to build a positive team environment and influence individuals at all levels in the organization Driven to achieve outcomes, understand how to manage risk and willing to participate, engage, and roll up their sleeves to ensure project deliverables and outcomes About OnKure: OnKure, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of best-in-class precision medicines that target biologically validated drivers of cancers that are underserved by available therapies.
