Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Subject to Commercial policy objectives. Achieve commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. Exhibit specialized knowledge across product lines, sales processes, or customer groups. Exhibit strong commercial awareness and influence the development of strategy for broad sales territory, including control of resources. Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work. Guide technical and engineering employees on direction that’s been set. Ensure that objectives, schedules, and budgets are met. Define approaches and formalize work plans for their team along with delegating action plans and evaluating progress on projects and assignments. Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations. Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at decisions. Manages a small to medium team of senior professionals. Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicate difficult concepts.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The position requires a Master's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any) + 6 years of experience in related occupation.

The position also requires 6 years of experience with energy industry trends, regulations, and implications on utility customers in the area of Transmission, Distribution, DERs, SCADA and asset management; 6 years of experience with power systems analysis; and 6 years of experience with knowledge of electric utility operation, control, and optimization is required. 100% remote position. Telecommuting is permitted. When not telecommuting, must report into offices in Bothell, WA.

The salary range for this position is $187,096 to $243,432. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience and their education.
