Position Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Specialty Channel Data Analyst Lead to join our dynamic team in the New England region. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our client services to enhance our client business processes and drive innovation in the life sciences sector.

o Data Quality Management

§ Assist with data accuracy and the availability of relevant data coming out of data vendors and aggregators.

§ Interface with stakeholders and vendors to verify accurate and clean data is provided to internal customers.

§ Provide and explain evidence of data discrepancies to stakeholders and vendors to ensure proper understanding and initiate corrections.

o Data Analytics and Production support

§ Retrieve and provide data in an ad-hoc manner to meet specific and/or immediate needs of a customer.

§ Perform recurring and on-demand tasks to meet expected business schedules.

o Reporting Request Change Management & Reporting Platform Oversight

§ Support cross-functional teams (Analytics, Operations, IT, Market Access, Trade, Marketing, Patient Services) to identify data needs; advise on data solutions and communicate the benefits and risks.

§ Participate in requirements gathering and development to deliver ad-hoc and new ongoing reports, as required.

§ Assist in data quality analysis and UAT for new reports development.

§ Oversee Qlik Sense to PowerBI migration working with CGI BI developers.

§ Working with Sanofi platform team to build the PowerBI platform and with right access to the CGI team

§ Define and implement migration or development work.

§ Defining the expectations for each deliverable

§ Providing SME support and the primary contact for escalations.

Your future duties and responsibilities

o Data Quality Management

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

o Technical skills

§ Good understanding of relational databases

§ Able to write SQL statements to query, analyze, and validate data

§ Experience with Data Visualization reporting tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI)

§ Comfortable working with data, e.g. combining, assessing, analyzing, and reporting on data

§ Basic understanding of data cleansing, data transformation, and data integration

§ Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle

o Soft Skills

§ Strong teamwork abilities

§ Ability to work independently

§ Experience with leading a team

• Nice To Have

o Prior experience in the following:

§ Working with Qlik Sense, Power BI, Snowflake Cloud Database, and SAS Studio

§ Working with ServiceNow Support Hub

§ Overseeing and managing commercial dashboards

§ Pharma or biotech Commercial domain

§ Working in a geographically diverse team, preferably across cultures

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 of experience as a Data Analyst in the life sciences industry.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Specialty Channel in pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong understanding of Pharma sales data and BI platforms like Qlik and PowerBI, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
