Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Assist with developing comprehensive Information Risk Metrics and Technology Risk Management (TRM) strategies, frameworks and roadmaps for data monitoring and reporting related to company’s Information Risk and Technology profiles;

  • Determine performance measurements, maintenance, and information and technology risks for Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) at enterprise and segment levels;

  • Identify, design, analyze and optimize comprehensive senior management metrics such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and reporting used to drive decision marking related to business and risks functions required for governance, oversight and data controls programs;

  • Assist with designing and providing relevant dashboards and reports to various stakeholders including: Chief Information Officers, Chief Risk Officers, CIRO, and Technology Risk and Information Risk Officers;

  • Recommend best practices for data management tools and processing of related documents and support materials;

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality alignment across all functions/segments and resolve Information Risk Metrics gaps and issues;

  • Collect, review and aggregate data metrics across technology operations, functions and regions for reporting critical information required for weekly, monthly and ad hoc senior and executive management reports;

  • Analyze metrics and ensure key trends, issues and watch items are included with management summaries;

  • Conduct deep dive and “so what” analyses of underdeveloped key metrics and provide insights for developing meaningful measures, and outline next steps and risk mitigations;

  • Communicate reporting modifications and process changes to contributors based on senior management requests and observations;

  • Partner with technology, risk and operations stakeholders to identify and implement data automation solutions; and

  • Collaborate with functional teams to provide benchmarking support for identifying data needs and reporting using data from multiple sources.

Employee may work from home within commuting distance of worksite.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Technology, Business, Risk Management, Auditing or related field and 3 years of experience in a Controls, Information and Technology Risk, Data or Risk position.

In the alternative, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Technology, Business, Risk Management, Auditing or related field and 5 years of experience in a Controls, Information and Technology Risk, Data or Risk position.

Experience must include:

  • 2 years of experience defining and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);

  • 2 years of experience conducting data process improvements;

  • 2 years of stakeholder management experience;

  • 1 year of experience with data analysis, data metrics design and development and reporting for information risk function.

Experience may be gained concurrently.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

USA, Massachusetts, Boston, 200 Berkeley Street

Salary range is expected to be between

$85,750.00 USD - $159,250.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
