Red Hat Senior Consultant - AI Business Unit in Boston, Massachusetts

Do you want to be part of a team focused on making AI a valuable reality for our customers? The Red Hat AI Field-Focused Product Management team is looking for a Senior Consultant with relevant AI/ML experience to join our rapidly growing AI Business Unit.

This team works with customers, partners and field-facing roles, to ensure that the Red Hat AI platform remains the best choice for enterprise-grade AI workloads.

This is a unique chance to work on exciting projects, while positively impacting our products and our customers' AI journey.

In this role, you'll be expected to develop and share expertise in the various fields related to both Predictive and Generative AI. You will have to provide expert advice to customers on how to best leverage the Red Hat AI platform and surrounding technologies. You will get to experiment, prototype, design, and publish various patterns, examples, workshops and other related documents, to illustrate the scope of what is achievable with Red Hat AI. This will encompass both Predictive and Generative AI workloads, as well as AI-adjacent workloads.

The role is primarily an individual contributor. You will get to interact with customers, engineering, UX, sales, marketing and many more teams. Therefore, communication skills will be important.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagements/Presentations: Engage with customers to understand their unique AI requirements, provide them with expert guidance, and address their questions and concerns.

  • AI Consultation: Collaborate with customers to adjust their AI strategies, address their specific use cases, and drive value through the adoption of the Red Hat AI Platform.

  • Coaching and Best Practices: Work in tandem with our Consulting Organization, to provide them with the advanced support they might require, and to ensure that recommended practices are properly collected, documented, and distributed.

  • Public speaking and presentations: Represent Red Hat AI at technical conferences, webinars, and customer events, as well as internally. Deliver presentations and discussions on MLOps, OpenShift AI, RHEL AI, showcasing expertise and product capabilities, as applied to real world scenarios.

  • Material creation: Develop comprehensive materials, documentation, workshops and tutorials that illustrate how to utilize Red Hat AI for both Predictive and Generative AI, ensuring our customers have the resources they need for success.

  • Act as liaison: Ensure that field-collected feedback is properly described and prioritized, in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.

  • Stay informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and the latest developments in the field to provide informed guidance to our customers.

Required Skills

  • A deep passion for AI and MLOps and a strong desire to share that knowledge and passion, both internally and externally.

  • 5+ years industry experience

  • Ability to work Hybrid in Boston

  • Proven experience in interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing effective solutions.

  • Relevant hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining AI models in production environments

  • Confidence and experience in public speaking, delivering technical presentations, and engaging with audiences of varying technical backgrounds.

  • Familiarity with AI and MLOps tools and Concepts, including Automation, GitOps, pipelines, models, etc..

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent English language skills

  • Experienced in OpenShift

Optional Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent expertise; Master’s or PhD is a big plus

  • Experience in consulting, development, devops, data science, architecture, related to AI/ML.

The salary range for this position is $127,890.00 - $211,180.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
