Job Description

AECOM is seeking a talented and well versed Senior Civil / Transit Engineer to join our World Class Transit & Rail team in Boston, MA. The selected candidate will manage and serve as a technical lead to provide expertise for mid to large size transit projects to include subway, commuter rail, inner-city rail with one of the busiest transit agencies in the country. Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and identify opportunities in the New England area for railway and transit projects.

  • Lead delivery of projects to satisfy clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

  • Develop specifications, cost estimates and project schedules.

  • Prepare technical reports and analyses.

  • Coordinate and provides technical expertise for mid- large size projects.

  • Leads technical client relationships related to track design, track construction and phasing of work.

  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Oversee and manage work within the ROW for multiple projects.

  • Coordinates with multiple departments related to a projects scope of work.

  • Develop procurement specifications.

  • Prepare technical reports and analyses.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements;

  • BA/BS in Civil, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 10 years of relevant experience and or education.

Preferred Qualifications;

  • Professional Engineering License (PE).

  • Previous transit agency experience.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $133,500.43 - $210,000.00.
