AP Content Specialist Position Summary Mass Insight is seeking part-time, AP Content Specialists to join our Advanced Placement (AP) STEM & English Program team in the following content areas: AP Statistics AP Environmental Science AP Literature & Composition AP Language & Composition These part-time positions will average 35 days in the current school year. The AP Content Specialists will report to the Senior Content Director and should expect to virtually support Mass Insight AP STEM & English schools/districts in Massachusetts and additional national client sites when/if applicable . The primary focus of this position will be to oversee high quality implementation of Mass Insight’s AP programmatic offerings; increase the number and diversity of high school students taking AP courses, increasing qualifying scores in high schools, and possibly in other sites where Mass Insight has national engagements. Responsibilities: • Individually manage their own resources and time to deliver client-ready work • Build, manage and support strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and students • Plan, support, and/or facilitate effective summer and fall teacher workshops to increase AP teacher effectiveness; as well as approximately monthly student AP Webcasts to provide students with additional time on learning and review key concepts of each course • Provide quality assurance and support to AP presenters at Mass Insight hosted conferences, workshops, and AP Webcasts • Consistent outreach to high school educators and administrators to increase enrollment and results • Actively communicate the professional development opportunities offered by Mass Insight and encourage attendance • Encourage teachers to make their students aware of AP Webcasts and encourage the students’ attendance • Support the increased effectiveness of AP teachers through virtual support, including but not limited to: modeling classes, curriculum alignment support, planning course of study (syllabus), and assisting in lesson planning • Work directly with students enrolled in AP classes through AP Webcasts, virtual in-class visits, and more • Stay up to date on and share the latest trends from College Board regarding their subject • Provide a monthly newsletter to all AP teachers of subject matter courses • Participate virtually and in-person for Mass Insight events as appropriate Compensation and Benefits We’re proud to offer comprehensive benefits to staff. ● An hourly rate of $62.50/hour ● 401k with a company match Please go here for additional information ​​ www.massinsight.org/benefits To Apply Mass Insight strives to build a staff and board that reflect the cultural diversity of the schools and districts that we partner with.
