Position SummaryThe Price and Promo Technology Team is seeking an experienced Application Developer who will be responsible for creating software essential to CVS Health’s retail promotional and pricing efforts. We are open source enthusiasts and readily embrace new technologies. We build web applications in a variety of languages using a diverse toolset. Agile methodologies are essential to our practice, both Scrum and Kanban in separate instances. We are dedicated to learning and collaboration, personal career growth, and maximizing our impact on the business. Our software creates in-store signing, automates digital ad production, and handles image processing. Our users create and manage content for CVS.com with the tools we have created. We build RESTful APIs with PostgreSQL, mySQL and Node.js. We write client applications using javascript, PHP, python, and more. We are currently seeking an experienced full stack web developer to support the design and implementation of new internal applications, as well as work closely with other developers and stakeholders.Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Years Experience with Web Development using Laravel

  • 5+ Years Experience improving, maintaining, or contributing to existing codebases and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Well-rounded and comfortable learning and programming in multiple language - PHP/Javascript/Node.js

  • Strong communication skills - must be able to interface with users to gather requirements, test prototypes, gather feedback.

  • Experience developing on MacOS and Linux

  • Experience with docker or other containerization technology

  • Experience with postgres or mySQL

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum a plus

  • Enthusiasm for open-source

  • Ability to move and follow-through with projects and features through full development cycle: requirements, business analysis, code, QA, UAT

  • Thinks critically about improvements and solutions - is not satisfied with status quo

  • Experience working or working with remote co-workers and clients

EducationBA or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
