Robert Half Fund Controller in Boston, Massachusetts
Description
Our client is a premier Private Equity firm in Boston looking to add a Fund Controller to the team. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 days in office per week.
The Fund Controller role involves working with a team to manage SEC reporting, onboard service providers, and liaise with auditors and tax advisors. The ideal candidate should be versed in SEC reporting, Investment Company accounting, and have strong skills in analysis, accounting, problem-solving, Excel, and communication. Responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting: Involves review and timely filing of periodic financial reports, understanding of investment mechanics, conducting accounting research, and maintaining a reporting schedule for SEC compliance;
Fund & Cash Management: Entails creating BOD presentations, managing fund liquidity and cash flow, overseeing various payments and service providers, and supervising fund-level debt closing and reporting;
Financial Analytics: Requires comprehension of fund performance measurements, conducting fund performance analyses, responding to inquiries, and managing relationships with all collaborators.
Requirements
Ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of applicable experience, CPA and experience in the Alternatives space.
