Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team located in Boston, MA. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the creation of both annual and quarterly financial reports, adhering to US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and addressing any inquiries related to these records.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the creation of both annual and quarterly financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting guidelines.
• Prepare necessary supporting schedules and documents, as well as assess financial reporting information received from other departments and service providers.
• Draft financial statement footnotes to provide detailed explanations and insights into financial data.
• Assist in the implementation and compliance with new and proposed accounting and reporting standards.
• Handle account reconciliations on complex areas of accounting.
• Review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements, adhering to US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP regulations.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors and clients to address comments that arise during reporting cycles.
• Plan and manage the workflow of financial reporting audit cycles.
Requirements • Advanced proficiency in Reporting and Planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of Compliance and Review processes
• Experience in Audit and External Audit procedures
• Ability to handle Quarterly reporting and Implementation tasks
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Knowledge of Financial Statement and Financial Reporting processes
• Familiarity with GAAP Accounting and US GAAP standards
• Experience in Liaising with different departments and teams
• Track record in conducting Financial Statement Audits
• Ability to work with Service Providers effectively
• Understanding of Securities and Exchange Commission regulations
• Familiarity with IFRS Accounting
• Ability to prepare Supporting Schedules
• Comprehensive knowledge of various Accounting Functions
• Ability to handle Photocopying/Scanning documents efficiently
• Over 6 years of experience in a similar role in Financial Reporting or Analysis.
