Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanic to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards. The candidate will run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and buses
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

Cummins Engine experience preferred

Must be able to obtain SIDA Badge for the Airport

Work Environment
Candidates will work in an indoor mechanic shop that can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The culture is very laid back and everyone helps each other out. You will work with lead mechanics in the shop. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, and the company provides a uniform. The hours for this position are 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
