Job Title: Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Description:

Our law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our passionate team. This is primarily an onsite role based in Massachusetts, which calls for a minimum of 2 years' experience in civil litigation. Experience in medical malpractice will be considered an advantage.

As a Civil Litigation Attorney, you will directly handle a diverse caseload and manage all aspects of the litigation process from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes. You'll be involved with drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements. You will engage in extensive client interaction, and your strong communication skills will benefit both the client relationship and the ultimate success of the case.

The role also includes active participation in team meetings and legal practice area activities to ensure a unified approach to client service. Client representation will span from initial office meetings, case evaluations, pretrial procedures, trial representation, settlement negotiation, and appellate advocacy.

Requirements - Expertise in Civil Litigation Experience

• Defense litigation experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of litigation

• Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Litigation

• Complex Litigation experience

• Medical malpractice experience highly valued

• Background working with management litigation

• Practical knowledge of defense litigation

• Good understanding of litigation support and document services

• Deep understanding of Civil Rights Litigation

• Adeptness in Insurance Defense Litigation

• Earlier work involving plaintiff litigation

• General familiarity with civil litigation

• Filing litigation experience highly preferred

• Previous experience working with litigation support software

• Desire to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Licensed attorney

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

• Stellar academic credentials and references

• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
