Description
Robert Half is seeking candidates for a full-time Staff Accountant position with an established and growing company in Bonita Springs, This position will challenge your skills as your juggle multiple components. This Staff Accountant role's duties will require preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. This role is for someone who wants to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes.
Major responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision
Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation
Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Efficient in ERP systems
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
