Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Bonita Springs, Florida
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the Rental/Leasing Services industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Bonita Springs, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining and processing customer transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and resolving any discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Resolve any accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors
• Reconcile sub-ledger to the general ledger, ensuring consistency
• Handle account reconciliations and cash applications
• Address and rectify chargebacks as required
• Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Perform month-end close tasks including journal entries
• Carry out invoice coding, matching, and batching tasks
• Manage full cycle accounts payable operations
• Oversee purchase order and invoice processing. Requirements
• Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
