Oracle Principal Security Engineer in Boise, Idaho
Job Description
The scope and responsibility of this team includes attack analysis, tracking threat actor's indicators of compromise (IOCs) and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), aiding in security incident response, executive communication, and customer outreach.

Responsibilities
Maintain a complex internal security system that tracks malicious actor activity, streamline the processing of internal telemetry, and develop security tooling that facilitates the extraction of threat intelligence from large data sets
Iteratively improve internal systems and frameworks to include the development of custom scripts and services, implementation of data science notebooks, and deployment of Spark applications
Manage various communication streams including cross company and executive communications. Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, security technologies, and geopolitical issues to assess their potential impact and proactively enhance Oracle’s defenses
Collaborate with partner Cloud Security teams during all phases of the incident response lifecycle and provide guidance on complex security challenges
Design, implement, and manage security programs and processes to reduce information security risk, mitigate potential security weaknesses, and strengthen Oracle’s security posture

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
