This position is responsible for managing a sales team in new account development and growing existing accounts within an established geographic or named account territory, specifically for State & Local Government territory. Detailed Description:
An OCI & AI IaaS Sales Director manages a sales team to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s revolutionary OCI and Generative AI cloud products and solutions across the private or public cloud.
Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.
Values collaboration and giving back by mentoring and coaching the sales’ team members.
Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
Manages and develops a team of sales representative including recruiting, hiring, training new reps in Oracle’s sales process.
Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue monthly.
Manages escalations.
Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.

Job Requirements:
Leading sales team providing direction and mentoring to others.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
8 years relevant work experience.
BS/BA preferred.
Career Level - M4

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,200 to $270,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
